This is hobby web site any proceeds from sales partly fund my passion for woodturning

 I started woodturning in 1996 after many years in the motor trade.My name is Brian Wade this is my first attempt at a web site you will have to excuse any mistakes.I enjoy all aspects of woodturning,being completely self taught. I make all the usual bowls hollow forms natural edge etc ,But I must admit I have a special yen for clock making, creating mantle ,  wall and pendulum and  in many unusual shapes.

In the following pages you can find galleries of my work  ,  hints and tips   , and information about the tools that i use and build , and techniques that work for me. See photo ,in the next page , of a deep hollowing tool rest made out of a Volvo steering rack (with some modifications).Anyone interested can contact me and I will try to explain how i built it.

With the natural features found in wood , just like a fingerprint , no two pieces are exactly the same. Each one is totally unique.  I will be adding to my galleries on a regular basis , but the galleries show just a small proportion of what i have made.
